At FramesDirect.com we LOVE when influencers, writers, and vloggers connect with our brand and our product. Here’s a rundown of recent mentions from across the web:
Blogger and style connoisseur Franko Dean is passionate about fashion, and that’s no secret to his 116K Instagram followers. They look to him for inspiration for clothes, accessories, travel tips, and more. Franko Dean knows that the secret to a great look is in the details. That’s why he chose classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers to go with his patterned tee and white distressed denim. But then again, classic Wayfarers go with just about anything!
Dr. Andrew G. Carr, aka inn8chiro on Instagram, is a practicing chiropractor and men’s style buff. He has mastered not only the art form of having a great sense of fashion but also of being able to capture his looks perfectly in photographs. We love the way he styled the Ray-Ban Clubmaster Wood sunglasses with a rugged pair of boots and a smart indigo shirt, all the way buttoned up.
Tommy Lei has made a name for himself as much more than an Instagram darling. His passion for aesthetics, art, beauty, and technology have led to work with major brands on their digital strategies and creative vision. Under the moniker mybelonging, Tommy showcases his unique worldview through fashion and photography. He reminds us to appreciate the small things in life (like these round folding Ray-Ban sunglasses!)
Changing direction from fashion to health, FramesDirect.com got a mention on MedicalDaily.com, a website dedicated to covering the health and science news that matters most. Since 75% of Americans need glasses, we thought an infographic that breaks down the science behind How Glasses Work would be of interest to a wide audience. In short, the lenses bend light to compensate for vision deficiencies in the eye, but if you want to know more check out the infographic!
Next up, we got an awesome mention on MarieFranceAsia.com, the sister site of marie france magazine and mariefrance.fr, which caters to women across South East Asia. The article gives great recommendations regarding what glasses will flatter different face shapes. The slideshow features a Michael Kors pair of eyeglasses that would be perfect on Demi Moore, or really anyone with a strong jawline!
One of our favorite shout-outs comes from a handsome young man that modeled for our most recent FramesDirect.com photo shoot. Doesn’t dade_horton look amazing in these classic Ray-Ban Large Metal Aviators with blue mirrored lenses?
We also received a very educational shout-out from FramesDirect.com’s favorite sneakerhead vlogger T-Blake. He shared how to use Flexible Spending Account money on eyeglasses. FSA money is tax free! You can also use Health Spending Account (HSA) funds to pay for prescription eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. T Blake lets everyone know they don’t have to skimp on eyewear to gain this benefit, any prescription eyewear is eligible, whether its Ray-Ban, Prada, or a less expensive brand.
The MSN Money site also referenced FramesDirect.com recently when they quoted one of our articles about where Ray-Ban sunglasses are made. Even though Ray-Ban is an iconic American brand, they are often manufactured in Italy or China, depending on the style. If you want to learn about more “American” products made overseas, check out the slideshow.
Last but certainly not least, you can see an awesome pair of Prada sunglasses being featured all over HelloMrsBlog.com. This adorable bohemian beauty gives lots of actionable advice on lifestyle and fashion, and best of all she shops in ways that are more attainable and affordable than many other bloggers. Steal her look or just get inspired here.1
