Even though Fall is upon us, the fashion world lives in the future, and there, Spring is already in bloom. Of all the fashion weeks, New York is our favorite, because we carry so many of the brands from the runway at FramesDirect.com. Tory Burch, DKNY, Ralph Lauren, and Marc Jacobs are all customer favorites, but at the top of the heap are Kate Spade and Michael Kors. So, we wanted to pair up some of the runway looks from this week with sunglasses from those designers.
Kate Spade went all bohemian at her recent show, and let the preppy ponytail down for some Moroccan inspired fun. Tassels and applique abound, and whether in florals or stripes, the palette was bright and refreshing. The light and airy feel of the garments gave a casual vibe, and block heels, or flat-heeled sandals made the looks very wearable. These are our three favorite looks from the show paired with some Kate Spade sunglasses that could take the outfit outside.
The flirty striped dress on the left, with the peplum and pink bow would look great with Narelle sunglasses in Black with Gray Gradient lenses.
The amazing dark denim outfit with pink roses would be divine with Klaudia sunglasses in Transparent Tan with Brown Gradient lenses.
And the hippie tasseled dress with coat on the right would suit the Candida sunglasses in Almond with Polarized Brown lenses perfectly.
Michael Kors showed lively, upbeat and feminine silhouettes, featuring ruffles, florals, and nipped-in waistlines. There were forties inpired platform shoes and plenty of bright colors (though the three favorite looks we choose are pretty much brown and white, ha.)
We think Kendall (on the far left) would look gorgeous in theses MK1013 Sunglasses in Gold-Silver.
Some of you may think “puffy shirt” from Seinfeld, but we think, paired with the flowing white trousers, it’s perfection. Don’t you think MK1012 Sunglasses in Gold-White with Liquid Gold lenses would go with that look?
And on the right, this gorgeous embroidered dress is the perfect wedding guest dress and the MK2024 Sunglasses in Tortoise-Gold would totally vibe with the seventies influence.
